Add another five minutes to your drive and you'll find yourself at the popular Tyger Valley Shopping Centre, boasting over 250 shops and other leisure activities.

In nearby Tyger Valley, the Slow Market Willowbridge is a great farmers market offering original food from different cultures and fresh flowers and vegetables.

The biggest themed playpark in the whole of the Western Cape, Bugz Playpark, is in Joostenberg next to Kraaifontein. And it's not just about playing, but also teaches kiddies about the outdoors and the importance of exercise. It's a great way to keep families busy during weekends and holidays.
